The split hollow design makes the whole case feel feather-light in my hands, which I didn't expect for something with such a dramatic look. It snaps on cleanly and the tentacle cutouts add just enough grip that my fingers don't slip during long sessions.

The hollow tentacle pattern looks incredible up close, the way the light hits it gives the whole thing a creepy depth. It clicks onto the console firmly with no wiggle, which I was worried about with a split design.

The split design makes it way easier to snap on than the one-piece cases I've used before, and the tentacle cutouts look even better in person. It's light enough that I forget it's on until someone asks about it.
